The Greendale Historical Society will host a special beer tasting event during Greendale’s Village Days celebration on August 9, 2008 and will commerate Greendale‘s 70th Anniversary and the New Deal’s 75th Anniversary.

The “Original Beer Tasting Bash” will give attendees an opportunity to sample some of the area’s finest microbrews and will be held at Ray and Dot's Tap at 6351 W. Grange Avenue in Grendale and will run from 3 to 5 p.m. on August 9, 2008

The “Original Beer Tasting Bash” will also feature special guest, Professor Christopher MIller, a historian at Marquette University. Miller’s talk, entitled “Why the New Deal and Greendale Matter”
