Greendale Historical Society Membership Meeting on May 12

The topic will be "Crafting for a Purpose: WPA Milwaukee Handicraft Project". The program will take a look at the handicrafts that were done as part of the WPA program during the Great Depression. People would make textiles, furniture and other craft items in order to sell them. The program will be presented by Jacqueline M. Schweitzer, honorary curator of American History for the Milwaukee Public Museum.
Attendees will also receive an update on the Greendale Historical Society's capital campaign and Magical History Deluxe Motorcoach Tour.
